What it is
ÚNMS SR (Úrad pre normalizáciu, metrológiu a skúšobníctvo Slovenskej republiky) is Slovakia’s office for standards, metrology and testing — the national body responsible for standardisation and the Slovak member of the European organisation CEN and the international body ISO. It oversees the Slovak technical standards (STN).

Conformity in practice means applying the right standard, and ÚNMS SR is the Slovak authority for accessing the EN standards your product needs. A standard’s legal weight comes from being harmonised (cited in the Official Journal) for the applicable legislation.
