What it is
HZN (Hrvatski zavod za norme, the Croatian Standards Institute) is Croatia’s national standards body and the Croatian member of the European organisation CEN and the international body ISO. It publishes Croatian standards (HRN) and the Croatian adoptions of European (EN) and international standards.

Conformity in practice means applying the right standard, and HZN is where you access the EN standards your product needs for the Croatian market. A standard’s legal weight comes from being harmonised (cited in the Official Journal) for the applicable legislation.
