What it is
Tukes (the Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency) is Finland’s authority covering product safety, market surveillance and chemicals across many sectors — electrical products, toys, machinery, consumer goods and more. Few EU countries combine this much under one roof.
Why it matters for compliance
For products sold in Finland, Tukes is the authority that can check products, request your technical documentation, test, and order correction, withdrawal or recall — and it is also the national chemicals authority for REACH/CLP matters.
