# What the free account includes, and what the subscription adds

> The three access levels — public, free account, subscription — and exactly which features sit at each level.

## In short

Reading is public, the free account adds Academy enrolment, downloads, Radar updates, notifications and organisations, and the subscription adds the compliance engine and every tool with 20 products included.

- Public: regulations, guides, knowledge, the book online, Radar reading, research data — no login.
- Free account: Academy tracks and certificates, PDF and template downloads, Radar follow, Notification Center, organisations.
- Subscription: product validation, documents, DoC and reports, share links, Recall manager, GreenWashing scanner, API keys.

## Three levels

Conphora has three access levels. They build on each other: the subscription includes everything in the free account, which includes everything that is public.

### Public — no login

Everything you can read on conphora.com is open: the [regulation library](/regulations) with all regulation pages, their summaries and JSON twins, the [knowledge articles](/knowledge), white papers read online, the Academy book read online, the [Compliance Radar](/tools/compliance-radar), the Research & Education section with its CSV downloads, press releases, the resources directory and site search. The [self-assessment](/compliance-check) is also public — it is a browser-only demo with a fixed rule table, not the engine.

### Free account — sign-up, never a card

Signing up unlocks the actions that need to remember who you are:

- Academy enrolment on all three tracks, the quizzes and the certificates.
- PDF, template and book downloads.
- Radar follow and email updates.
- The Notification Center in the platform (feed and email preferences).
- Creating an organisation and inviting members.
- Saved state such as drafts and saved views.

Nothing here counts products, and nothing here expires. See [Create a free account](/help/getting-started/create-a-free-account).

### Subscription — the engine and every tool

The subscription is started by an organisation admin and covers the whole organisation:

- Product validation and gap lists.
- Documentation hosting and document matching.
- Declaration of Conformity and report generation.
- Compliance status and share links.
- Classification and evaluation against harmonised standards.
- The Recall manager and the GreenWashing scanner.
- Product feeds, API keys and integrations as they go live.
- Priority support.

Twenty active products are included; above that each active product is billed per month. The current prices, the yearly option and a calculator are on the [pricing page](/pricing), and the details are in [Products included, extra products and yearly billing](/help/membership-and-billing/products-included-and-billing).

## Managed service

If you would rather have Conphora run validation, documentation and monitoring for you, that is a contact option priced per case, not a plan. Use [Talk to us](/contact?topic=managed).

## Which level do I need?

- You want to learn or follow the rules: public, or a free account for courses and downloads.
- You want to see what applies to your products and hold the evidence in one place: the subscription.
- You are not sure: create the free account first. The plan screen after sign-up and the membership page in the platform show the subscription whenever you need it, and there is no trial clock forcing the decision.

Still unsure which level fits? [Send a request](/help/request) with a short description of what you want to do.
